What's your opinion about the sophomore brothers' habit of taking the name tags given to people at our events and randomly sticking them on unsuspecting brothers’ staff?

  1. Yong-Ju says:

I think the poll is pretty definitive to say the least. It truly reflects honest opinions of our brothers and sisters.

  2. GLiu says:

Yong-Ju speaks the truth, and this poll does too.

  3. KG says:

I wonder if this turned out how P. Manny imagined.

  4. Del says:

This past sunday brother K and J tried to scheme a plan during take down to put a name tag on me but little did they know that I have a 6th sense. Bro J leaves the sanctuary and with my spidey senses I turn around 30 second later to find bro J about 2 ft away from me w/ a tag in hand. He had a look of utter bafflement and shame in getting caught which was priceless. Just another example of a failed attempt to get the staff which has clearly reached desperation level.

I think the soph bros are pretty hurting over all. especially when yong ju tried to stick his tag to my shoe and then after doing so took a picture, or was it andrew? or KG? so hurting. and then plastering the tags all over judge’s back in the shape of a cross. and then james putting a tag on bree’s sleeve. overall, i think it is a desperate attempt to overcome the consistent domination of the staff over the young ones. maybe they are thinking, if we can’t take the staff while we are young, then how can we possibly do so when we get older and past our prime?

  6. Emanuel Kim says:

what loophole have you guys created to go for 100 votes?

  7. Will says:

I’m all the way here in SF State Koinonia (http://sfsukoinonia.wordpress.com/) but I just decided to vote for the option where the students are desperate after facing crushing defeats at the hands of staff; whoever wrote that one, just got my vote purely on funniness factor!

  8. Yong-Ju says:

I can tell that the staff’s false claim to dominance really disturbs Kevin because he was wondering about this topic at 4:30 in the MORNING!!!

  9. Chandrew says:

These polls show how much the students have rocked the staff in water basketball and in name tags. The biased polls that keep appearing and their options show some evidence of the staff’s frustration. Even in one name tagging incident, P Manny was walking around with DM’s name tag on the front of his shirt and after he found out, he charged Brother A in frustration, probably because he was reminded of water basketball, and was worked again by the students. The poll results accurately reflect how name tag sticking is “all fun and good” and that is how the students view it. Sophomore bros are not frustrated and would not turn to name tag sticking as a way to get the staff back. Maybe it is the staff who are frustrated.

  10. Wayno says:

i seriously laughed out loud at the dominance in the poll when i first saw this. Looks like its not the only thing the staff gets dominated at

  11. James says:

Wow, it was too late to change my vote. But I should’ve voted for other: “Excited, that surely this fellowship activity will carry over to the sophomores in Berkeley when they visit

  12. KG says:

    Class of ’12 dominates again.

  13. KG says:

Henry Chen: “It’s all about having the right polls.”

I think the staff are just frustrated in all facets by the soph bros…they can’t even win by fixing their own poll ;)

  14. Del says:

How many random ppl did u guys ask on facebook or at the library to go to koinoniatexas.org and vote? There’s no way 100 ppl would’ve voted in that short span of time. Or the soph bros must’ve each downloaded 5 diff browsers and voted.

  15. Tom Wang says:

This poll is a little too easy to rig. You don’t even need multiple browsers to vote twice.

P.S. I voted “Other” to avoid biasing the poll.

  16. KG says:

Oh, Del. You underestimate us. :)

  17. Emanuel Kim says:

i heard chandrew found a loophole chenry. think you will need to make the sight more secure!

  18. KG says:

    Tom Wang is legit

  19. Wayno says:

are you trying to make a pun Pastor Manny? cause that would admit that you like tem

  20. Wayno says:

are you trying to make a pun Pastor Manny? cause that would admit that you like them…

boy that would make john and mo happy

  21. KG says:

    P. Manny: Punbelievable or English Patient?

  22. Yong-Ju says:

Pastor Manny, saying “chenry” was sick!!!

  23. Frederick Li says:

Sheesh…talk about sophomores dominating. It’s almost to the point where I feel sorry for the staff. They have rapidly started deteriorating and become jaded. Even their intelligence is becoming inferior as evidence of the loop hole in this poll.

Reminds me of just how Michael Jordan, just like the staff, still wants to play basketball at 50 even though he’s clearly over the hill and incompetent now. Trying to still run with the young ones is pointless since even though they have more knowledge and their reaction times have slowed to a halt…not to mention their bodies are past their breaking point. Any more physical activity and you might twist a joint or break a bone…Just look at evidence in John’s leg or Chin Chin lifting Henry in water basketball.

  24. davidlee says:

haha. it’s funny that frederick mentions bball when he got WORKED by Jackie at the 605 in bball. it’s the latest koinonia post on this site. =)

  25. John says:

Some comments I can accept as being slightly sensible, but maybe Frederick needs to see this new post and then decide who’s been dominating who.
