Here is the video that was created by our very own Austin students and was played at our Spring Welcome Night.
On Saturday the Freshmen class braved the morning chilly weather for an exciting time of flag football, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. After we worked up an appetite, it was time for some good old fashioned burgers and dogs. Though we couldn’t go kayaking, we nevertheless had a great time of sports, food, and fellowship. We even ended our day with a regional co-ed Australian Relay race between Dallas, Houston, and Everyone else (of which 3 El Paso track stars competed). Don’t miss the next one!
The freshmen bros headed to the sands of South Padre Island last weekend and maximized the time at the beach with tackle football, soccer, Olympic track & field events/relays, sharing 5 min life journeys, and group skits/songs. We also had a chance to stop by the incredible “Ichiban” seafood restaurant where we ate lunch and celebrated William and Chance’s 19th birthdays. Overall, it was a very memorable time of fellowship and bonding.
This past summer Koinonia held a volleyball clinic and intramural with many exciting games coming down to the wire, none more thrilling than the one shown in this video.
