A couple of years ago, we started the tradition of visiting various senior citizen care homes and homeless shelters on Valentine’s Day. What could be a more meaningful way to celebrate this day of “love” than to share God’s unconditional love with others? This Valentine’s Day, we will continue on that tradition as we visit the Salvation Army and South Congress Care & Rehabilitation Center. Join us on February 14, 2010, from 10-11:30am, as we share God’s love and compassion with others.

Join us for this new Sunday message series where we’ll dispel some of the common, yet false, notions of who God is.  With topics such as the “Cosmic Vending Machine, ” “Aloof and Absent,” and “Impossible to Please,” we hope to bring to light the truth of God’s character and love for us.

Mark your calendars for our special Spring Welcome Night. Free food, rockin’ live music, and a thought-provoking talk… join us and invite your friends for a special night of laughter, fun, and reflecting on the deeper issues in life.

We’re “Going Overboard” during our Spring Welcome Week with our board game night. Come get to know us as you play some of the favorite games of the past such as Scrabble and Guesstures, or try out some new favorites such as Dominion and Sequence. Snacks will be provided!  And then join us this Friday for our big Spring Welcome Night.
