koinwniða: Greek for fellowship. That’s what we’re all about: fellowship with God and with each other. We “do” life together, learn more about ourselves, and figure out how God fits into all of this!
College is an exciting, hectic place. It’s four short years to have fun, succeed academically, get ready for the “real world,” find friends to last a lifetime, figure out Life. We’re a group of Christ followers who do this together, and whether you’re a committed Christian or merely curious, you’re welcome to join us.
Koinonia meets weekly to study the bible and hear out God’s perspective on life. We talk, discuss, ask questions and arrive at answers as we investigate and discover God’s purpose for our lives. Along the way we also play, hang out, eat good food, study really hard, and “do life” together. After all, sometimes campus life runs us through its gamut of ups and down–thrills, boredom, loneliness, anxiety, or struggling to fit in somewhere–but the upside is that we do it together as we build a community of faith around the love (and joy) of God. We hope that you can check out Koinonia and find your home away from home with us!
Looking for a church? Many of our members attend Gracepoint Fellowship Church in Austin, so contact us if you want more info!

At Koinonia Austin we meet throughout the week and our activities are a great way to connect with other college students. Each of us is hard-wired for relationships - with God and each other. Where better to find that than through a small group? Maybe you like the idea of a great in-depth study of a Bible passage. Perhaps you’re looking to pray with friends, and share lives, or just meet with others to read the Bible. Chances are, there’s a place for you to connect through one of our activities.
Every Friday night we gather in large group to study the Bible’s rich insights and relevance in our everyday lives. Don’t forget to stick around for a cozy time of fellowship afterwards. Come and join us!
Small groups are close knit groups that meet during the week to study the Bible, pray for different needs, or to just share about our lives. Interested in joining one ?
We meet for daily devotional times throughout the week in order to read, reflect, and share about specific Bible passages. This gives us the opportunity to share about how God is personally leading us to live that day.
Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00pm
We also play awesome sports, eat, go on trips, have lots of fun while just “doing life” together.
