Looking for a cozier group to connect with? At our LIFE groups, we:
L – Listen in order to better love one another (listen to each other’s struggles as well as listen to others as they bring God’s word into our life) I – Intercede on behalf of each other as well as other common concerns F – Fellowship with one another E – Engage God (help each other bring God into the center of our lives) and Engage God’s word together
We meet weekly in the middle of the week and usually start with a home-cooked meal followed by a meaningful discussion, and always some fun time of hanging out. Sign up if you would like to check out a life group.
It’s 100 plus degrees, welcome week, and there’s nothing to do. What better way to spend the time than get some free shaved ice, and play some fun sports! That’s exactly what Koinonia is offering at the six pack lawn next Monday, Aug 24th at 4pm. So don’t miss out! Swing by and definitely feel free to bring your friends. It’s definitely going to be a hit!
The first few weeks on a college campus can be a disorienting time with the dizzying array of events and activities being offered. It’s hard to decide which activity to check out first and find people to check it out with. Joining a WAG might be a good place to start and you may just end up making a new group of friends or have a great time with your high school buddies to make your first week at UT a memorable one! Every Friday night we gather in large group to study the Bible’s rich insights and relevance in our everyday lives. Join us for our Bible Study series Metamorphosis, where we will study how the Gospel has the power to transform our values and character. We will be meeting by small groups for dinner beforehand. Also, we will have our Multiply Your Talents classes afterwards! For rides or more info, contact info@koinoniatexas.org.
Where: 209 W. 27th St., Austin (Episcopal Student Center)
We meet for devotional times throughout the week in order to read, reflect, and share about specific Bible passages. This gives us the opportunity to share about how God is personally leading us to live that day.
