A couple of years ago, we started the tradition of visiting various senior citizen care homes and homeless shelters on Valentine’s Day. What could be a more meaningful way to celebrate this day of “love” than to share God’s unconditional love with others? This Valentine’s Day, we will continue on that tradition as we visit the Salvation Army and South Congress Care & Rehabilitation Center. Join us on February 14, 2010, from 10-11:30am, as we share God’s love and compassion with others.

During this season of Thanksgiving, we will be having two community service opportunities as we share God’s love with our neighbors. As we are grateful for all that God has done in our lives, we want to express that in loving those in need around us.

Please join us for either our visit to the Austin Nursing Home and Salvation Army Shelter on Saturday, Nov. 21. We will hold a special presentation at each of the locations, making and giving crafts to either the children at the Shelter or the elderly in the Nursing Home, and share a special message of God’s love.
