Welcome to UT, Class of 2018!
Written by Steffanie W. and Tina S. We began our new exciting year with the Fall rally, which included a prayer walk around campus
and some time to prepare our hearts by being reminded of how God sees the UT campus.
To welcome the class of 2018, we had various welcome week events starting with Boba Bar hosted by the junior class.
We enjoyed good tapioca drinks and played fun board games!
On Monday, the upperclassmen were able to share their wisdom and insights about college life, their spiritual journey, as well as about their major with younger UT students at the Koinonia Open House.
On Tuesday, the sophomores had a good time over great meal, sharing their own experiences from their freshman year and also their goals and vision for this upcoming year.
And finally our New Student Welcome Night!!!
We started the night with a skit by some of our own Koinonia juniors depicting the life of 4 different UT freshmen.
Then Pastor Jonathan gave a thought-provoking message, challenging us to use these four years to actively seek the truth.
Our student panel shared about their own experience of searching for truth and the ways through which they were able to do so. And we ended the night with yummy Korean barbecue!
We are looking forward to what God has in store for all of us and meeting many students who are on the UT campus this year!
