As with every July 4th holiday, our church made our annual visit to Fredericksburg, a small German town south of Austin. In smaller groups, we made stops at different dinner spots and made sure to stop to enjoy their locally made ice cream. Their peach ice cream is always a must as Fredericksburg is known for their peaches!

After we fueled up, it was time for some physical activity at the park. While we waited for the fireworks to start, we played some volleyball and softball. Even though it was blazing hot, it was definitely a sweet time of fellowship as our church was all together.

Finally, the sun set and the time had arrived for the fireworks! The night ended as we took in the breathtaking display of colors. We left Fredericksburg with full stomachs and another sweet memory to add to the book.
