Freshman Zilker Park Outing Recap

With the onset of slightly warmer weather this past weekend, many of us gathered for the freshman outing to Zilker Park. It was a day full of activity as we ate really good food, played sports, and kayaked. Though kayaking turned into a massive competition of who could splash the greatest and though as a result, few were spared from the inevitable soaked state, Saturday’s outing was definitely a day to remember!

This grill served two functions that day: cooking the food and warming up the students.

After lunch, we played a few water games! You know, just in case, we were drying off too fast.

We ended the day with good ol’ Ultimate Frisbee and volleyball.
