"The Letter's" Bible Studies
For our Friday night bible studies this summer, we have been going through "The Letters," a message series on the Epistles. So far, we have covered Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and most recently, 1 Thessalonians. Each week, we start off with a home-cooked dinner, and then we gather together in our respective classes to study God's word.
We cover one of Apostle Paul's letters in-depth, and this is not your ordinary bible study! During our bible studies, we watch hand-drawn videos, very similar to the "Bible Project," that help us to understand the context and visualize the letters that we are studying. To help further retain what we learned from the letters, we also supplement our learning experience with engaging activities. Our activities range from coming up with fun and informal performances (like rapping!) to drawing to composing our very own haikus!
After our bible study, we would transition to our fun Post-TFN activities! Previous weeks, we've had board game nights, a gym night, and just this past Friday, we got to watch the 2016 Olympics opening ceremony.
As the summer is coming to an end and with the school year starting in a couple of weeks, we have 2 more in-depth bible studies on "The Letters." Our bible studies are located at 405 22nd Street and happen every Friday at 6:30pm, starting with food and fellowship.
We hope you can join us in going through "The Letters!"
